What is a Native AD?

Native Ads are a form of paid advertising where an ad blends into the platform where it’s placed. They are non-disruptive and have an editorial style, and do not look like typical advertisements such as banner ads or display ads. Native Ads entice the reader to want to read or consume more. They are most often seen in “feed” ads, or on the top/bottom of the sidebar on some more known sites such as Facebook, YouTube, etc. They lend themselves very nicely to content marketing campaigns.

An advertisement must always be labeled as paid for. Native Ads can be identified as an advertising by using the words “Advertisement,” “Sponsored Content,” or “Promoted Post,”.

Native ads can be powerful advertising tools for your small business but they aren’t the solution to all advertising needs. Through their informative content native ads can draw people in and help sell your products and services.
